G. Boy the Legend, Jeffrey Faulkner, was born in Indianapolis, IN. He was raised by a single parent on the East side of town (42nd and Post). There he spent most of his time on the basketball courts of Three Fountains and in the backyard on Brentwood playing football. He lived in an area surrounded by drugs, gangs, and sex. In spite of the hood, he had only one dream, to play sports. As he grew older he realized his dreams of going pro were very slim, so he turned to music. He began rapping at 16, playing around with until he realized he had a gift, started pursuing music seriously at the age of 20. With the release of mix tapes from 2006 and 2008 he decided to get more aggressive. He started Legend Entertainment Group at the end of 2008 and put all his time and effort pursuing this call on his life.

With the many wrong choices and decisions, that had distracted and kept him from staying completely focused, he felt he had to release his sin before he debuts into the world. With that in mind he released a prelude, ìRe-Up The Kingdom Is Nearî in May 2009 to expose this foolishness and to let people know there is always a way out of sin and with God all things are possible. He is now totally focused and ready to come strong into this entertainment kingdom.
